Data Analyst - Recruitment and Resourcing

Location: Newport

Role overview

Data is an essential part of our lives, with data analytics becoming increasingly vital to organisations. Within our Resourcing Service, analysis of data is critical to our success.
You will work within a Recruitment focussed service, so knowledge of recruitment processes is advantageous, but not essential. Your ability to work with and analyse large sets of data is the critical factor.
You will work as part of a team, based in our Newport Centre of Excellence. On occasion, there may be opportunities to work from the client site in London.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team to help us:

Key responsibilities

•    Analyse candidate behaviours to ensure our recruitment campaigns generate the best possible outcomes
•    Forecast through the recruitment process to anticipate likely outcomes
•    Identify predictors of success
•    Review our marketing approaches - what works, what doesn't?
•    Much, much more...

Throughout our recruitment processes, we gather a huge amount of data, and we want to ensure we are using this to its full potential. This is where you come in.

Essential skills

•    Is good with data - you will have an understanding of how to gather, interrogate and analyse data
•    Has a passion for problem solving
•    Is an advanced user of Microsoft Excel
•    Has good communication skills, with the ability to present data and conclusions concisely through written materials
•    Is accurate, with great attention to detail
•    Is innovative - you will challenge current processes and systems to seek to gather more meaningful data, allowing continuous improvement of the service as a whole
•    Can work effectively as part of a team, or individually as required
•    Has experience of working with online systems (eg. Oracle / WCN)

Security clearance

You will be required to ungergo the NPPV1 clearance
